For more than 20 years, Scott Hudson has assisted management with employment and labor issues ranging from wage and hour claims to internal investigations involving claims of sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. His balanced approach can diffuse the often sensitive and volatile workforce issues many employers face. He has an innate ability to quickly assess a situation or problem and guide employers with a decisive plan or solution.
His years as a human resources consultant provide him with a strong foundation upon which to build his litigation practice and has armed him with the confidence and strategies to build complete defenses for clients. In state and federal court proceedings, he consistently pushes cases forward and searches for every opportunity for a favorable resolution, either through court decision or compromise. He has represented employers in hundreds of cases before the United States Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and before other federal, state and local regulatory agencies.

Independent of his litigation practice, Mr. Hudson assists management in complying with state and federal employment regulations. This includes developing Affirmative Action Programs, employee compensation programs, employee handbooks and policy manuals, and conducting management training. Mr. Hudson is a frequent speaker at labor and employment conferences on legal developments that impact employers.
