For more than twenty-five years, Robert Stovash has served as statewide litigation counsel for individual and corporate clients, including national banks, general contractors, and entrepreneurs, handling complex banking litigation, business litigation, employment litigation and construction litigation matters. His success in resolving litigation matters, both pre-suit and through the court system, is attributable to his ability to leverage the strengths of his clients’ claims or defenses while developing case specific strategies to expose the legal weaknesses of his adversaries. When a comprehensive pre-trial strategy is needed, Mr. Stovash is able to efficiently utilize discovery and motion practice to build his client’s case. At trial, he is an aggressive courtroom advocate who utilizes his oral advocacy skills to persuade judges and juries alike.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Stovash also maintains a civil appellate practice. He brings remarkable diligence to his client’s appellate proceedings, from analyzing and briefing legal issues to presenting oral arguments to the appellate courts. His appellate practice focuses on business-related appeals in the state and federal appellate courts.

Independent of his trial and appellate practice, Mr. Stovash also has a growing mediation practice. Because of his years of litigation experience, fellow attorneys call upon Mr. Stovash to serve as a Mediator to assist in resolving their disputes through the mediation process.

Mr. Stovash is an “AV” rated attorney, the highest rating achievable for legal ability and ethics by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is the facilitator of the peer review process that rates attorneys. The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory ratings reflect the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary.* Mr. Stovash’s distinguished career has included recognition for outstanding pro bono legal service, selection in 2010 as one of Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite, and being named as one of the Orlando Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in the Central Florida community.

Mr. Stovash has served in leadership positions on the boards of numerous community and charitable organizations, including serving as the Chairman and a Commissioner on the Orange County Planning and Zoning Commission and Local Planning Agency, and as the Chair and a Board Member of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business Board.
