Lance King represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. He has represented clients in a wide variety of cases, including breach-of-contract claims, commercial disputes, employment discrimination defense, real estate matters, professional malpractice, debtor and creditor claims, and other matters. Mr. King also has substantial experience in local government and land use law, having represented five cities in the Orlando area as outside general counsel at a prior law firm. His practice has included a transactional component as well, including drafting contracts and providing legal advice related to a wide range of matters, such as commercial transactions, real estate, business entity formation, employment agreements, and other transactions.
Mr. King graduated cum laude from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. As a law student, he served as an editor on the Florida Law Review, and was named to the Dean’s List each term for academic achievement. He also served as a judicial intern in the chambers of a Senior Federal Judge for the Northern District of Florida, helping to draft judicial opinions and analyze cases.
Mr. King represents clients with a care and devotion born form a deep belief in the attorneys’ duty to put the client’s interests first, and a conviction that helping others vindication their legal rights is one of life’s great honors.
